The faces that greet you when you walk up the stairs to EXTRAordinary (A Photographic Exhibition Honouring Ambulance Officers) gaze quietly at the camera, no one smiles and there is nothing to tell you that these are extraordinary people, heroes in fact. Then you read the first text panel, move on to the next and the next, and you are moved to tears.

The exhibition of black and white images convey the rawness and reality of front-line ambulance experiences. Twenty - nine inkjet images and text panels are the resulting documentary which makes a significant contribution to New Zealand's social history.
